BDF Pneumatik system: operation principle

System in transport condition System in superstructure swap condition

With the help of air cushions, installed on the car, the superstructure lifts to a required height. The air to these cushions comes from the additional receivers. The cranes ensure the lifting control.

In raised position the special support legs are laid out from the superstructure bottom. Then, by the same cranes the superstructure on air cushions lowers down up the support legs’ contact with the ground. After complete lowering of the air cushion the car can go without superstructure.

The superstructure attachment and fixing to the system is done with container fitting locks according to ISO standard, which reliably hold the superstructure when the car is operated on the roads of different categories.
